still pregnant.
not much to report.
went walking in the mall of america for 6 hours yesterday and then had a fancy italian dinner.
i was so wiped out from the walking. but it was good to walk even tho it was very difficult to do so at times.
at one point saw a store that sells big bean bag couches and i flung myself on one of them in desperation and i swear i could have just fallen asleep there, amidst the noise and flurry of activity.
had lots of BH contractions at the mall and in the restauraunt had them more frequently (4 to 6 an hour i would guess) and thought it might be the start of something,
but as soon as we got home and i layed down, they went away, mostly.
so that was that.
today i feel no differently.
maybe she'll come on the full moon on sunday. *rolls eyes*
but ya, i pretty much feel like i will be pregnant for 500 weeks right now.

please don't tell me to be patient and she'll come when she is ready because....
i already know that times infinity :)
and my hormonal state will rip your head off, verbally, if i have to hear that one more time.
(also amidst the "you better think about inducing or that baby will be too big! teh crazy!1!")
thank you!

me tired.

the italian food was nummy but the restauraunt played the most atrocious music way too loudly.
except for when the song "lovecats" by the cure came on exactly at the same time they brought out M's piece of chocolate cake with a candle on it.
that was magical :)

it's still so hot outside...

Love you, Ana!! (((big comfy hugs)))

You sound ready.

It's hard to make your heart believe things your head KNOWS, you know?

I sympathize..........I went to 43 weeks with my first.........I felt like I was pregnant forever. Well, then again.......I only went to 40 weeks with my second and I felt pregnant forever then too. Sometimes, the idea of wearing pants with a defined waistline was just so appealing! :P

I think baby Lili needs an eviction notice. :)

Thank you for bringing this one into the world! We're anticipating her with you, though no one, even other mothers, can understand just right where you are in this waiting time. Loves.

I love the "better induce or she'll be too big." Is that too big to come out? Or too big as in she'll be so freakishly big that you, M and Lili will all be invited on Jerry Springer?

Love and kisses.

hahahaha, carolyn, maybe your comment will cause ana to laugh so hard she *pops* lili out! :P

At least the weather is oh so slightly improved. At least compared to the last four days!! :)

just be patient and... oh. (j/k.)

i feel priveledged to be a part of this experience! :)

A friend of mine just had a baby.
We were out shopping a week after the doctors said she would give birth and her family kept calling her constantly asking if she had the baby yet. She got so pissed off she picked up the phone and screamed 'When it comes out, I'll call you!'

I've been watching via raggedy_robot.

I was two weeks "early" with my first, and my son was 10 days late and finally my homebirth doctor scraped my membranes and I gave birth 12 hours later...(I got to go home, have a rest and then a typical three hour birth for me).

You're doing all the right things and in hindsight I probably would have never induced even though I understand 150% your feelings right now.

PS...don't go the castor oil route. It was nasty and all it produced were really smelly farts and some horrible diarrhea.

Go bowling--it worked for my former sister-in-law! :)

lovecats IS awesome.

BTW, this has been so cool, reading your account over the last nine months... the ups and downs and stuff... you will never know how many souls you touch with your awesome gift of sharing your life & love with the world! here's to baby lili coming at just the right time! :)

the walking probably helped a bit, even though it's so tiring.

i was getting over it a week ago - i suppose around the time i started getting typical late-third-trimester aches and pains - but now i'm actually hoping to go to full term, or even a few days over (without being induced, fingers crossed). i figure this is the last of the quiet, couple time my man & i will have, and i wanna squueze every last drop out of it!

ooh, also, months ago you posted a really funky sling, but i think you've deleted/made it private as i searched a bit to no avail. what was it?

i'm so excited for you...everyone in my family waits until 44 weeks or something crazy until a baby actually comes...i was about 16 days late...i was so ready at 38 weeks...and by week 40 was LIKE SO READY ALREADY...and then by week 41 i was actively planning my new career as the forever pregnant lady...i was fantasizing about my appearances on tabloid covers, and talk shows...and how life would be with my forever pregnancy...and i wanted to kill anyone who had anything to say about having a baby or...the above mentioned atrocious statements....so i cant wait to read about your birth experience!!! good vibes your way!

Good morning, mama. I woke up and thought of you and M and your baby :)
